Introduction

The Action Audit module, also known as the audit module, is a part of the system related to configuration, scheduling, conducting and reporting all types of audits in the organization.

Access to the module requires an active license to use the system in the Action Audit or Action Lean package in any variant, i.e.: STARTER, STANDARD or EXPERT.

Having the appropriate license, the user will see the Audits section in the left menu, and depending on the role assigned, the user will have access to some or all elements of the module:

Audit types

The module uses a global filter of audit types to support many types of audits within the same views and functions. Once set, the filter works in all views in the module.

The following types of audits are available:

  • General audits
  • 5S/6S audits
  • HSE audits
  • Audits of standard
  • Audits of process
  • Audits of product
  • ISO audits
  • VDA 6.3 audits
  • Gemba walks

How the Module Works

An audit is a systematic and independent evaluation of processes, systems, or organizations to verify their compliance with specific standards, regulations, or best practices. It can cover various areas, such as finance, quality, safety, or regulatory compliance. Audits help identify nonconformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement, supporting business enhancement.

The Action Audit module has been designed to relieve the audit manager of the daily management of the audit process as much as possible. This has been achieved by enabling the use of advanced configuration, thanks to which the system works largely autonomously, and the manager can focus on analyzing the results of audits.

That’s why the next part of the manual deals with the configuration aspects first, and then describes the current use of the previously configured module.
