New global parameter type – “relation”

Feature
Web Platform (2.35)
Pulse (1.26)
The parameter behaves like a dictionary (list of possible values). The difference: items are automatically fetched from the relation, so there is no need to manage them manually. The dictionary entries are automatically sorted to make them easier to search. Examples of relations: users, employees, organizational units.

New rating scale type – user-entered value

Feature
Web Platform (2.35)
Pulse (1.26)
Previously, the auditor could only assess compliance by selecting one of the predefined scale values. Now it is possible to enter a parameter value (e.g., temperature), which is automatically converted into the appropriate compliance score for the question. This provides greater flexibility in assessments and adaptation to non-standard audit parameters.

Доступна нова мова: Українська! (New language available: Ukrainian!)

Feature
Web Platform (2.35)
Pulse (1.26)
Ukrainian language support has been added to the app. You can now browse the interface and content in the language of beautiful traditions and resilient people!

New daily report

Feature
Web Platform (2.34)
We have introduced daily email notifications reminding users about upcoming action deadlines (with an option to set the frequency of notifications). These will replace the previous morning report.
Each report includes: my actions, actions from my action plans, actions from plans where I am a participant with write permissions.
Notifications are sent if at least one action has a due date: today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, in 7 days, or in 14 days.

The email may also include other tasks, such as overdue or with different deadlines.

Bug in delay report in the Kaizen module

Fix
Web Platform (2.33)
Fixed an issue where the delay report showed incorrect tickets. Now the report correctly displays delayed tickets, both incomplete and completed (with 100% progress), if they were completed past the deadline.

Notifications when changing the owner of the action plan

Feature
Web Platform (2.33)
Added functionality to notify the new owner of the action plan. After changing the owner, an email notification is sent and a message appears on the dashboard.

Configurable mandatory resolution of an activity

Significant Change
Feature
Web Platform (2.33)
Added the ability to configure the mandatory entry of a solution for an action before dragging the progress status to 100%. Additionally, the user interface was changed by adding new options.
CAUTION: Every post-audit action plan has this parameter enabled by default. To disable it, go to the action plan Settings tab in the left menu.

Translation of action plans into the preferred language

Feature
Web Platform (2.33)
To improve collaboration in international teams and facilitate communication in a multilingual environment, the ability to translate Action Plans into the user's preferred language has been added. The translation is not automatic – the user decides when and what to translate.
multilingual
Web platform
If the Action Plan language differs from the user's preferred language, a button appears allowing the entire Action Plan to be translated. All fields are translated. The user can revert to the original language after translating.
Mobile app
Three levels of translation are available:
  • single field within an action
  • entire action
  • whole Action Plan (including its title, description, and all actions)
The function aims to facilitate collaboration between people speaking different languages without the need for manual translation of content.

Schedule copies

Feature

Fix for Shifted Calendar Weeks

Fix
Web Platform (2.33)
Weeks in the schedule and report were shifted by one week compared to the standard calendar convention. This has been corrected to better align with the general week numbering used in calendars. For example, week 24 will now be labeled as week 25.

Updated interface for adding photos and videos

Change
Pulse (1.24.1)
We’ve updated the library responsible for the camera and photo upload. The interface in this area now looks different. A new time limit has been added for videos — up to 30 seconds, in addition to the existing 40 MB file size limit.

Login via QR Code

Feature
Web Platform (2.33)
Pulse (1.24.1)
After logging in to the Action Audit web platform, a new QR code icon appears in the top bar – next to the user avatar and the announcements icon. When clicked, a QR code is displayed, which can be scanned using the Pulse mobile app. After scanning the code, the user is automatically logged in to the mobile app without needing to enter login credentials. This login method has no usage limits and does not lock the account – unlike SMS code login.

Action Qualification in Post-Audit Activities

Feature
Web Platform (2.32)
We’ve introduced a new Qualification column in post-audit activities that automatically classifies actions based on audit inputs
This new column supports the following classifications:
  • Recommendation: if the audit response indicates a recommendation.
  • Corrective Action: if marked as Corrected immediately or if detailed in the Corrective Action field.
  • Preventive Action: if detailed in the Preventive Action field.
  • Minor Nonconformity and Major Nonconformity: if it’s an ISO audit, the classification comes directly from the audit response.
  • Preventive Action: if the audit response is less than 100 and no detailed nonconformity is recorded.
This classification allows for easier filtering of actions in the activities list by using the new 'Qualification' column.

Billing Module and Stripe Integration

Feature
Web Platform (2.32)
We’ve refreshed the billing view to display a list of available modules included in your current license. Additionally, integration with the Stripe payment processor is now available as an optional feature, allowing users to manage their subscriptions and payments independently.

Pulse Access Suggestion

Feature
Web Platform (2.32)
When an administrator creates or updates a user and enters a phone number, the system now automatically checks whether the user already has Pulse access and whether the Pulse module is active. If the user does not yet have a Pulse account and these conditions are met, a modal window will appear, asking if you’d like to create Pulse access for that phone number. If confirmed, the system will automatically create a new Pulse account.

SMS Sender Changed to ActionAudit

Change
Pulse (1.23)
The SMS sender field has changed. Now you will be receiving SMS messages from ActionAudit.

Improved user replacement flow at license limit

Feature
Web Platform (2.32)
Previously, reaching the license limit made it difficult to replace a removed user with a new one while transferring responsibilities. This update introduces the ability to create a new user directly during the archival step of the previous user, streamlining the process.

Change in Roles and Permissions - Individual Permissions

Significant Change
Change
Web Platform (2.29)
In response to a request from one of our clients to add a new feature to the software, we decided to introduce a significant change in user roles and permissions. This change allows adding the new feature without compromising the quality of conducted audits.
The new feature allows setting the Yes answer for all audit questions that have not yet been answered. This is a highly debatable option, as its misuse could lower audit quality. Therefore, we decided that the corresponding permission for this feature will not be associated with any role. Instead, we introduced the individual permissions functionality.
As part of this update, two roles that were somewhat unnaturally created during the software's development - each existing just to add a single permission - were removed. Now, there are three available individual permissions:
Filling in the remaining audit questions - a new permission that initiated this change. It allows selecting the answer Yes for all audit questions that have not yet been answered.
Assigning a person responsible for post-audit actions - a permission introduced to replace the Leading Auditor role.
Restricting the selection of individuals to team members only - a permission introduced to replace the Team Leader role.

"Complete Audit 100%" Feature

Feature
Web Platform (2.29)
Pulse (1.21)
A feature related to the previously described change, allowing users to select Yes (or another response ensuring 100% compliance) for all unanswered audit questions.

Information on unexecuted Audits in the LPA Report

Feature
Web Platform (2.29)
The LPA report now includes information on the number of audits marked as unexecuted. Additionally, in the XLSX version, both the total count and breakdown by specific reasons are provided.

Displaying Rejection Reasons in the Submission List

Feature
Web Platform (2.29)
In the submissions module, the list of Kaizen innovative ideas and potentially hazardous events now includes information on the reason for rejection, along with a filtering option.

Adding Layer Filter in the Audit Results Report

Feature
Web Platform (2.29)
A filter has been added to the Audit Results Report, allowing users to limit audit results to a selected layer.

Change in audit scheduling algorithm

Significant change
Feature
Web Platform (2.28)
A significant change has been introduced in the method of scheduling audits. Previously, Action Audit used a specific division of the year into weeks that did not reflect reality. The year was artificially divided into 48 weeks, 4 for each month: 1-7 days of the month, 8-14 days, 15-21 days, and 22 to the end of the month. Over time, as requirements became more complex, this approach caused more problems than benefits.
Audit schedule
After the change, the year is divided into 52 weeks, and calendar weeks are now the primary reference for setting audit dates. However, to make schedule management as universal as possible, an additional unit of time - months - was introduced. The following scheduling frequencies are now available:
* Daily - in two variants: weekdays only and all days of the week,
* Weekly - every X weeks specifying the day of the week,
* Monthly - every X months specifying the day of the month.

Assigning global params to audit types

Feature
Web Platform (2.28)
Pulse (1.20)
Global parameters linked to the audit module can now be defined as related to all audit types or only one type. A similar function already exists within the incident module.

Integration with Microsoft Entra ID

Feature
Web Platform (2.28)
We have added another sign in method to the Web Platform. Following integration with Gmail, the time has come to implement signing using Microsoft Entra ID.
In addition to login, user provisioning (account creation managed with Microsoft Entra) has also been implemented. This feature is aimed at clients using the ENTERPRISE package and requires additional legal agreements and dedicated configuration.
With the introduction of authentication via Entra ID, some other processes related to gaining system access have also been simplified and streamlined.

Suggesting subjects for manually initiated audits

Change
Web Platform (2.28)
Previously, on the new audit form, the Subject field was empty, and the auditor had to enter any text to proceed. The implemented change suggests a topic in the form of auditType + areaName + date, e.g., 5S Audit Line XYZ 2025-01-27.

More information in the checklist listing

Change
Web Platform (2.28)
The checklist listing now includes information that was previously not directly available. These are details about: 1) the grading scale, 2) the number of questions on the list, 3) the number of areas where the checklist is utilized.

Notification about file attachment

Feature
Web Platform (2.28)
Files attached to activities often contain critical information that, due to a lack of notifications, did not always reach the action plan owner. Therefore, email and push notifications about a file attached to an activity have been intorduced.

Private tasks module

Feature
Pulse (1.20)
A completely new module has been implemented in the Pulse mobile app, designed for users with accounts in Action Audit or Action Plan as well as for non-logged-in users.
Private tasks module
The Private Tasks functionality is a simplified task list designed to be convenient and quick to use while performing other activities, such as shopping, working in the office, or while commuting. Available features have been minimized, but as a result, Private Tasks have the following characteristics:
High usability and convenience - the most important operations are accessible within one or two gestures.
Full privacy - information about tasks remains only on your phone; we do not send them to the cloud or monitor them in any way.
Available to everyone - you do not need an account in Action Audit or Action Plan to use private tasks. A key note: Actions are also available to non-logged-in users, so we recommend caution when sharing your phone with others.
